Hello Friends and Family,
Let me start out by saying that brother wrighter is getting better but he is still hanging on by a thread. I love that man. on Tuesday we did trade offs with our district leader and I went down to pascagula with E. Christensen who is a Spanish missionary. Pascagula is so ghetto but everyone was super nice. He taught about four lessons in Spanish and I just sat there because my Spanish aint so good but I bore testimony in English to most of those hombres and E. Christenson translated.Wednesday we traded back then elder adams and I went to go see Darrel long. That appointment fell through so I was mad. Thursday was good though because we went and taught Melanie Conaway, She is a new investigator and she would fit perfect in the ward here. She has two kids and is mid 20's with another kid on the way and she wants to raise her kids in a house hold with good values. We told her that god loves her and gave her the restoration lesson. She like it. We invited her to watch General Conference on tv she said she would. It was a good lesson though. Then we get a text from the zone leaders saying that there is a hurricane brewing in the gulf. haha I was pumped but nothing happened!!! Friday morning we went to brother madisons house to give his son in law a blessing. He isn't a member but his wife is very strong and takes the kids every sunday. That went well and tommy (the guy who received the blessing) is hopefuly doing better. It was a good act of faith on his part to ask for a blessing and that is a step towards following Christ which he needed to take. After that we went and slaved in brother martyns back yard! we were there all day trying to get rid of this stuff called pompus grass. that was the worst. Saturday we watched general conference and I actually watched it this time!!!! i loved all the messages that were shared.sunday was a very good day though because i got to give brother grantham a blessing! he used to be a member of the 70 a while back so hes like the man but that was the highlight of my week! then today we went and saw micah and gave him a blessing as well! i love that guy.
so my favorite talk in general conference was every single one but im going to pick one. it was definently hollands because he is the man. he gives the best talks and this one just hit me so strong. we all have our personal struggles right? WELL YOU ARENT ALONE! jesus was sent to this earth to help us out with our struggles. he died for our sins and for out challenges we have. he lived it all man. don't ever feel like youre alone because youre not. take it day by day and live the gospel of jesus Christ and he will bless you greatly. i know this because he has blessed me greatly with a family that loves me and friends that care. i love this church so much and i have learned so much i still know very little but i have a testimony that the church of jesus Christ of latter day saints can bless everyone. everyone needs to know of the truth that we as members know so don't be afraid to speak! I love you all so much and think and pray for you all the time
