Hey Ya'll,
I don't know how your Friday the 13th went but mine was pretty lucky! We set a baptismal date for a lady named Tammy Howell who is related to all the Howells here in Brewton. We are also planning on setting a baptismal date for her mom, Linda who has been a investigator of ours for a couple weeks. So far she is really happy with what she has seen in the church. Hopefully it all works out! Keep your fingers crossed!!! The night we set the BCD with Tammy, we had two investigators of ours come to the Christmas program that the Jay branch was putting on! Now that's how you do it!!!
On Sunday I gave a talk down in Jay and up here in Brewton on fast offering. We also had a less active member come to church as well, his name is Steven and he holds the Melchizedek priesthood so we now have enough priesthood holders here to make Brewton a legit branch! How sweet is that?! Our stake president just has to send the request to Salt Lake and get the approval of making Brewton a branch!!!
The Lords work is hastening here in Brewton Alabama and I'm lucky enough to be apart of this work and see in progress! I love every minute of it and know that this is the Lords work! I love you all!
