So in Defuniak we have two people with baptismal dates. The first one is named Al Jackson, hes a colored man that's absolutely huge! Right now he is out of town due to a family reunion but he is a nice man. He's is in his early 50's and had a stroke awhile back, but he has recovered well. He knows the Lord is on his side and he has a testimony that we hold the priesthood authority. The next person is Zack Gauntney and he is about 17 years old. He has a problem with Tobacco and has had a problem with it since he was 8 years old he said. Well he has a baptismal date for the 2nd of August and needs to quit. In the lesson we had him give us his tobacco and he said he would quit! It was really cool. the spirit was really strong, especially when his friend bore his testimony in the lesson. Things are so great up here in Defuniak Springs. We are also teaching a fellow by the name of Thomas Skayhen and he used to be a member but had his name removed off the records because he was mad at the church. We just started reteaching him the lessons and he has full permission to get baptized again. We roll him to church every sunday because he cant walk, he lost his right leg. yesterday we were walking him home and it started raining somthin fierce! we started sprinting to his house and he was loving it! he had so much fun with that! I thought we were gonna hit a bump and it would just throw him out of his chair but the lord watched over us! Thats about all i can think of but I miss yall!
