A came to church on Sunday and stayed all three hours again! He really wants to get baptized and has a very strong desire to make this important covenant with the Lord. We have been teaching him on a regular basis and he seems to be understanding more and more. About a month agon Elder Miller and I ran into this lady working at Walmart. We talked to her about family history and invited her to the family history center. She didn't have time that week so we told her we would get back in contact with her. Well anyways a few weeks pass and we totally forget about heri until we see her again in Walmart! So we contact her and set up an appointment for Tuesday and due to our poor planning skills we scheduled an appointment over our district meeting/activity. So anyways she keeps the appointment and shows up to the church to do family history and a member by the name of Brother Stripling (ward missionary) takes her to the FH center and he said he felt the spirit so strong while talking to her. he said his hairs were standing up on end and the spirit prompted him to talk about the church and how it can bless her life tremendously! Anyways turnes out that shes been a less active member of the church for 40 some odd years! her dad use to be the branch president in some town in florida. but whats cool about this story is that both us and the members worked together to do missionary work. A lot happened this week and i dont have enough time to write it all out :( but i will tell you about a less active lady that we saw and gave her a blessing because she has major back pain well she came to church on sunday and said she hasnt been been in a year or so! A lot is happennin here in defuniak springs and Elder Miller and I are finally getting the area down!
