Hello Friends and Family,
The new family the bakers that just moved in to Brewton are helping us a lot up here. they are a blessing from above because. brother baker came with E. Gardner and I to Mitch's house and we talked about the importance of prophets. Mitch is the one with the baptismal date on December 7th. Mitch is so excited and always is asking questions. We have been meeting with Arsenio frequently and he is slowly progressing. we have to take it slow with him because he doesn't seem to remember the stuff we teach. Arsenio is going to take some time but he is in a really dark time of his life and needs the gospel. we have been meeting a lot with Billy too. he still has those issues he needs to resolve with the lord but we are working closely with him. we cant give him a baptismal date to work towards yet because of his issues but he knows the church is true which is amazing. we went to a baptismal service this Saturday for a guy named Nate who was baptized by the Milton elders but attends the jay branch. Brother Baker took us to the baptism and feed us smoked Boston Butts after! some of the best meat I've ever had! I hung up the Christmas lights on our house too, they look sweet! Sunday was the best day of the week though. we had three investigators attend church. Mitch, tammy, and Linda and Linda is Tammys mother, they both smoke but they are working on quitting. we are working on setting baptismal dates for both of them. Brewton is cool though. we are also changing our church services from 2 to 3 hours which will help a lot... I hope. we had a lot of spiritual experiences this week and it flew by. my testimony grows every day. reading from the scriptures each morning make my days so much better and I can promise that the scriptures will bless your lives. the picture I attached is a picture of a less active family we work really close with, the Morley's. and this is a picture of me with ANOTHER bloody nose!
Love you all!!
Elder Kimball
