Thanksgiving and the Choo Choo Market

Hello Friends and family!
Woah, what a week! We had so much stuff happen this week. but here is the deal, there is a man named Jeffery Foust who is RLDS and is very upset with his church! we met him through a family down in jay, the Wiggins, and he is now an investigator of ours. On Sunday he came to church and asked me to give him a blessing because he is going through a hard time but he knows that Joseph Smith restored the gospel and that the book of Mormon is another testament so we should hopefully continue to help him progress! thanksgiving was this week as you all know and for that we had a get together with the Jay and Brewton branch! We had two of our investigators came, Billy and Jeff. We ate a bunch of food then went and played football! Oh and on Saturday morning we set up a family history booth at the Brewton market! that was pretty successful! it was also my birthday this week but that doesn't really matter. Mitch's baptism is this Saturday so I will report on that next Monday!  on thing I learned this week was sacrifice. as members of the church we make sacrifice's every day whether we realize it or not! in todays world sacrifice is viewed negatively but if you think about, why do we sacrifice sleep on Sundays to go to church? or why do we sacrifice 10% of our income to pay tithing? etc.... well its simply because we love the lord! we should not sacrifice for the blessings that come with it but we should sacrifice because we love the lord and with that comes blessing so abundant you wont have room to receive them all. sacrifice shows that we trust in him and are willing to give up earthy possessions to show our desires to becoming more like our father in heaven. so instead of looking at sacrifice negatively I like to look at it as a way heavenly father has provided for us so we can become perfected and return to live with him again.
bellow is a picture of us and the Brewton sisters. they made me a cake and also a picture of our family history booth! love you guys!
